Digital Hate Review collaborates with The Bright Initiative — a global program that leverages public web data to drive positive change. Powered by Bright Data, one of the world's leading web data platforms, The Bright Initiative provides selected academic institutions, non-profits, public bodies, and journalists worldwide with pro-bono access to research-oriented data collection tools.
Through this collaboration, prospective DHR authors working on empirical research within the journal's scope — hate speech, conspiracy theories, antidemocratic resentment, mis- and disinformation, and related digital phenomena — may apply for access to Bright Initiative tools (dashboards, structured datasets, scrapers, and proxy infrastructure) during the duration of their research project.
